  • Condition: Excellent antique condition. A couple of small smudges of rust spots very light. One on the bodice far left near sleeve seam, and one on the skirt amongst the folds.     Description

    This is a rare large size Victorian period, 1880, white lawn dress with lots of eyelet lace and lots of pin tucks.  It also has big box pleats on the lower skirt area.  It has buttons running down the back to get in and out of the dress.  It has 3/4 length sleeves trimmed in the same 1" wide lace as found on the neckline.  The dress is full length.  I have a Victorian "under slip" which was probably worn with this dress up for sale right now as well.  See one of my other listings for that.
    The condition is very good antique.  There is some very light fraying in areas on the 1" wide lace trim at the neck.  There are a couple of very light rust spots.  One is on the upper bodice to the left near the sleeve, and the other is on the skirt within the folds near the waist.  The hem is coming down in one section and can easily be put back.  There are no major stains, rips, tears or holes.  There are no pit stains.  All the buttons running down the back are in place.
