Compatibility
Not compatible with Sony XAV models except XAV-AX100, XAV-AX5000.
If you own Sony XAV models other than these 2, we are sorry to inform you the the solution is still under development.
Not compatible with Skoda.
For Nissan Sylphy, Jeep and Mazda CX5, you need to power up AD3 externally by using a Y-shaped USB cable (1plug on one end goes into AD3, and 2 plugs on the other with 1 going into the head unit and the other going into a power port).
With factory head units:
Compatible with Toyota/Audi/Porsche/Volvo/Volkswagen/Mercedes-Benz/Hyundai/Honda Civic CR-V/Peugeot Chevrolet/Ford, etc.; not compatible with factory head units without wired CarPlay.
With aftermarket head units:
Compatible with aftermarket head units from Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, Dual, Jensen, Boss Audio, etc. with wired CarPlay.
With cell phones:
Compatible with iPhone 5 and later models with iOS 9.0 or higher; not compatible with Android phones.
With applications:
Compatible with CarPlay only; not compatible with Android Auto.
IMPORTANT:
AD3 is
NOT compatible
with any head unit that does not have wired CarPlay.
AD3 is
NOT compatible
with any head unit that already has wireless CarPlay, including ATOTO F7 XE, A6 PF and S8 (Gen2).
AD3 is
NOT compatible
with ATOTO A6 Y.

In the case of very few vehicles or aftermarket head units, for the first time using AD3, there is a small chance that CarPlay is not automatically launched on your head unit even after you have completed the connection. The reason is that there are many variants in the connection between a wireless Apple CarPlay adapter and various OEM and aftermarket head units. Our tool for dealing with this is the AD3 Online Update System. You can update AD3 to the latest firmware over the air, and the problem is solved once and for all. You will be able to enjoy wireless CarPlay with no problems after the update.
A QR code will be provided in the package. If needed, scan it to enter the system. You can report your specific issue in the system, and we will deal with it. The result is a firmware update specifically tailored to your needs. A happy ending is guaranteed.
