-NOTICE:
Selling my 1900s-1990s vintage clothing collection hand selected over the past 40 years.  Auctions in August and September!!
-DETAILS:
Vintage clothing lot of seven dresses from the 1940s-50s (6) and 1990s (1).  Fun to wear, collect, or resale.  This lot includes four dresses with fashion labels (Gloria Swanson by Forever Young, Mynette “so wise about your size”, Regency Dress Co. Inc., Boutique Europa) and
three with no label.
*Four vintage dresses have the original matching fabric belts. They have some wear (see conditions and photos) but could be replaced. Please read the descriptions and conditions below and examine the photos.
*Please look at the photos on the mannequin. This mannequin measures approximately: chest= 35”, waist= 29”, hips= 38”.

Other approximate measurements were taken lying flat.  Try measuring a similar piece that you own and compare it with the measurements provided as well as the mannequin measurements.
1. Fashion Label: Gloria Swanson (actress) by Forever Young.
1950s black crepe wiggle dress
with decorative prong-set rhinestones and black satin design on the bodice.  Simple but elegant “little black dress” with an extra fabric sheath crossing the front; open on the left side.
*3/4 sleeves; left side zipper.
*Approximate flat measurements: under arm to arm: 18”; waist: 15”.
*Condition: Vintage used condition; likely about 70 years old.  No significant spots, holes, tears or repairs were noticed.
2. Fashion Label: Regency Dress Co. Inc. New York
1950s raspberry red double-breasted coat dress
with a large shawl collar and removeable white center insert. Eye-catching belted fit and flare design with back kick pleat.
*3/4 sleeves; removeable white insert; partial satin lining on collar and each front side; two belt loops and matching belt; unknown fabric feels like wool.
*Closures: 1 snap, 1 hook & eye, 6 buttons.
*Approximate flat measurements: under arm to arm: 20.5”; waist: 16.5”.
*Belt: 36” x 2” (see condition and photo).
*Condition: Vintage used condition; likely about 70 years old. I found about 10 age spots (1/2” or less); some are shown in the photo.  No significant holes, tears or repairs were noticed on the dress.  The belt is torn on the back from extra “punched” holes (I still wore it).
3. 1950s black cross over fit and flare belted dress
with lovely purple and black floral sequins décor on the front right side.  Such a unique statement dress.
*3/4 sleeves with turned up cuffs stitched in place; large shoulder pads; matching belt; lovely sequins; unknown fabric (maybe rayon).
*Closures: Large fabric button on top left bodice; 2 hook & eyes at the inner waist.
*Approximate flat measurements: under arm to arm: 21”; waist: 16”.
*Belt: 36” x 1.5”.
*Condition: Vintage used condition; likely about 70 years old.  The inside “hook” is loose and needs stitches; small tear (1/2” x 1/2") on back bottom sleeve cuff.  No significant spots, holes, or repairs were noticed. Belt has typical vintage wear.
4. Fashion Label: Mynette “so wise about your size”
1940s-50s floral belted fit with slight flare dress
with nice tucked peats around the bodice and a small attached center flap.  Pretty pink and red flower blossoms and leaves on a smooth navy fabric.
*Short sleeves; left side zipper; two belt loops and matching belt.
*Approximate flat measurements: under arm to arm: 18.5”; waist: 15.5”.
*Belt: 35” x 3/4”.
*Condition: Vintage used condition; likely about 70 years old.  Some age patina around the inside neckline. No significant spots, holes, or repairs were noticed. Belt has two extra holes “punched”; some wear around the fabric buckle.
5. 1940s navy crepe fit and flare dress
with lovely lace accents.  This classic dress has a fun flared skirt to “swish.”  The V-neck can be left open or can close at the top with a hook and eye to make it “peak-a-boo.”
*Short cape sleeves; two shoulder pads; left side zipper.
*Approximate flat measurements: under arm to arm: 19”; waist:

Vintage used condition; likely about 70-80 years old.  The “eye” closure at the top needs some stitches or replace; a couple small open seam areas need stitches. No significant spots, holes, or repairs were noticed.
6. 1950s black fit and flare belted dress
with lovely black lace accents at the neckline and sleeve edges.
*Short sleeves with black lace trim; two shoulder pads; left side zipper; two belt loops and matching belt.
*Approximate flat measurements: under arm to arm: 18.5”; waist: 16.5”.
*Belt: 38” x 1”.
*Condition: Vintage used condition; likely about 70 years old.  Small 1/4” tear under front right lace; 1-2 small 1/2” open seams need stitching.  No significant spots, holes, or repairs were noticed.  Belt has some wear on the fabric buckle.
7. Fashion Label: Boutique Europa; Size L
1990s black floral stretch lace sheath dress.
Lovely black lace with an attractive gathered bodice.  It also has an attached spaghetti slip liner.
*Sleeveless; pullover style; rayon/nylon blend fabric; lined.
*Approximate flat measurements: under arm to arm: about 19” unstretched.
*Condition: Vintage new condition.  Purchased but never worn.
