Anodes/Zincs are required to protect your outboards
vulnerable
parts. These round zinc anodes are used within the cylinder head and are recommended to be replaced every 100 hours or sooner if deemed
necessary
. The o-rings that go with them should be replaced
every time
the anodes are. If at any point the anode holder/cover is cracked or damaged it should be replaced as well.
Every purchase comes with 1 anode and 1 o-ring. The o-rings are not individually packaged from the manufacture therefore they will arrive in unmarked baggies.
