    Description

Lovely 1920's vintage rayon crepe dress in navy blue. The fabric has some sheerness. It features a shift style silhouette with lovely textural deco style embroidery worked vertically on the skirt as well as the rolled collar at the neck. Faggoting embroidery stitching on the skirt panels as well- a slip will be required. The matching sash belt can be worn at the natural waist or at the dropped waist ( if worn at the drop waist you may wish to tack it in place as it was originally) Snaps at the neck on both shoulders, otherwise no closures.
Measurements: I would estimate it to fit like a size Small up to Medium in today's sizing. For reference shown photographed on a mannequin with bust 33/ waist 24/ hips 35. Last photo 5'5" 130lb/ bust 34/waist 27/ hips 38 . The dress is meant to be roomy. It is a slip over the head style dress closure other than the neck/ shoulder snaps. It measures as follows, compare these measurements with your own and allow for ease.
    Bust: 42"
    Waist area: 42"
    Hips: 46"
    Shoulder to shoulder: 15.5"
    Shoulder to hem: 45.5"
    Sleeve: 12.5" long
Condition: Overall excellent vintage condition with the exception of some lighter spots on the front. See pics. I have not had it cleaned- could benefit from dry cleaning to freshen. Wearable with vintage care.
