Vintage Antique Edwardian 1900s dress blue cotton soutache reworked as is clean

Description

Antique Edwardian early 1900s dress fashioned from blue vertically striped woven cotton. It features stitched on soutache passementerie on the bodice and skirt. Fitted with princess seaming. Pleated skirt. Hook and eye closure on the back. Unlined. Sleeveless with a scoop neckline, but it is possible it originally looked more like the pink one in the reference photo- see last pic.  As found, the dress has been re-worked with the sleeves and upper bodice being removed as well as the skirt being shortened. Evidence of an original embroidered net upper bodice seen on the back side - see pics. This dress was part of a collection of vintage and antique clothing from the estate of a former costumer for the Guthrie and other theaters in the Minneapolis St Paul area.
Measurements: for reference shown photographed on a mannequin with bust 33/waist 24/ hips 35 and it was snug in the bust/ torso. I would estimate it to fit like an XXS/ XS in today's sizing. The dress measures as follows:
Bust: 33"
Waist: 24
Hips: 46"
Shoulder to hem: 51.5"
Condition: listed As Is due to overall fading, some discoloration and a hole in addition to the above-mentioned reworking of the dress. Some of the hooks and eyes need additional stitching and some of the seams show some stress. I have hand washed and air dried the dress, so despite these things, it is clean and wearable with vintage care.
