Vintage White Tulle Net French Knot Embroidery Filet Lace Chemise Shift Dress
This exquisite vintage white tulle net French knot embroidery filet lace chemise shift dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a white sheer tulle net fabric with raised padded satin stitch and French knot hand embroidery work done in a floral rose vine leaf design and filet lace trim inserts with a floral ribbon bow garland pattern. This lovely lace loose fitting drop waist chemise style shift dress has a full skirt with a scalloped filet trim hemline, lace trimmed armholes, is sleeveless and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 50 inches long, with a 40 inch bust, 36 inch waist and 58 inch hips. It is in good condition, with only a tiny mended repair on the front top and side skirt which are difficult to see. This is truly an exceptional piece of embroidered lace wearable art!
