Description

Listed here is a NEW Volvo Penta Water Inlet Nipple, Nut, and Sealing O ring.  These are Genuine OEM Volvo Penta parts NOT cheap aftermarket knock offs.  Not individually packaged.    All parts are 100% new OEM.  Nipple has hole cast into them for some reason.  ALL OEM Volvo/Cobra nipples have this it is NOT a defect.  The nut will fit onto the nipple very snugly when installing.  This is normal and keeps the nut from coming loose.  Please have installed by a competent marine tech since parts can be damaged easily if done improperly being plastic.  The part number for the nipple is 3852533 and the number 911716 or 0911716 is from the Cobra mold they came from indicating the old Cobra part number and is cast into the side of the nipple (tried to get a picture but its a little fuzzy in pictures).  Cobra was purchased by Volvo Penta in the mid 1990s and these fittings were used on both transom assembly designs.  The part number for the mounting nut is 3852534 for Volvo and OMC Cobra 0911722 or 911722 and the o ring part # is 3852535 for Volvo and 0911718 or 911718 for OMC Cobra.  The nipple is the 1" diameter fitting (please see pics).  Please check your measurements since there were different sized fitting diameters.  These parts were used from the late 1980s (on OMC Cobra) to about 2006 on Volvo Penta (may vary a little depending on where your boat was on the assembly.  Since this can get confusing please feel free to contact me for concerns or help with compatibility and i will assist to the best of my abilities.  Thank you for your interest.  Steve MMSLLC :)
