    Description

    Vintage 1967
    Marimekko / D/R Design Research cotton print dress, made in Finland. Labeled women's size 36, but is quite small--probably more like an XS (0-2) size today--see measurements below. In a fabulous, vibrant screened print in deep gold, deep magenta and red--am thinking this print is by one of Marimekko's renowned form-giving designers, Annika Rimala. It looks like Jokeri, or even Keidas, but it is hard to tell. The short shift dress features a hidden front zip placket finished at the neckline with a silver-tone snap tab, long sleeves with snap closure cuffs, and a front pleat that follows the placket. In excellent pre-owned, vintage condition--still quite fresh and crisp, showing little use. A great addition to a Marimekko-phile's collection.
