    Description

    Vintage 1980s Diane Freis novelty print blouse/skirt dress set.
    The top has cutouts on the front and back around the neck. The sleeves are 3/4 length and very full with elastic arm openings. A drawstring around the waist makes this adjustable, so it can be fitted around the waist, or looser and low slung over the hips.
    The skirt has a high elastic waist and permapleats down its length, with a ruffled hem.
    The set is made of an amazing novelty print silky georgette fabric with a Carmen Miranda style woman with an ornate headdress, among birds and tropical flowers. Love! The sleeves and vertical strips down the blouse are a contrasting geometric pattern in the same pink, blue, red, white, black and teal green colorway.

    Excellent - the only flaw is that the elastic in the waist of the skirt may have lost some of its stretch, so it's best that the wearer be on the larger side of the measurements.
