Way Motor Works MINI Cooper S Crankshaft Pulley Harmonic Balancer Puller for R52 and R53 with W11 Engine.
This WMW crank pulley removal puller is exactly what you need to replace a failed harmonic balancer crankshaft pulley.  This kit unlike others includes the all important crank pin for the puller to press against as you pull the pulley off when tightening down the puller. (crank pin shown in last picture)
This crank puller kit ONLY works on:
2002-2006 R53 MINI Cooper S with W11 engine
2005-2008 R52 MINI Cooper S Convertible with W11 engine
Does
NOT
work on any other model MINI.
To use once you are ready to pull the pulley off you will need to install the crank pin in the center after removing the crank bolt.  Then mount the puller using the 3 bolts to the face of the failed crankshaft pulley.  Tighten down the center threaded puller bolt against the pin and keep going until the pulley is all the way off the crank.  Make sure the puller is perfectly parallel to the face the of crankshaft pulley otherwise it won't come off.
This is the same exact puller we use in our MINI repair shop to remove the failed Harmonic Balancer crank pulleys.
This puller can also be used to remove the Alta, ATI Racing, Cravenspeed, M7, Kavs, and Corteco aftermarket crankshaft pulleys.
