Zandra Rhodes Gorgeous Tulle / Silk / Metallic Gold Lace Gown / Dress SM

This gorgeous gown is marked a UK 12, US 10, but measures smaller than today's sizes. It's made from a mixture of fabric, I took a photo of the fabric label. Bodice is metallic gold lace, it's trimmed with large pearls. It has a dropped waist, there are free floating, curved panels of silk chiffon with butterflies painted in metallic gold,  silver and cream. The panels have a wide very soft, tulle ruffle around the curved bottom edge. It has 2 layers of stiff netting under the top layer, the netting has some tears along the bottom edge, it's lined with taffeta. It measures 35 inches around the bust, waist is 28 and it's 57 inches long. The tulle was tucked a few inches under the bottom ruffle to shorten it, so you could make it longer, but the lining would have to have a band added around the bottom if you wanted it longer. As mentioned above, the tulle on the skirt has a few pulls and pin head holes, one shoulder puff has a lot of pulls, but there are options to fix it. The puffs are a double layer of tulle, one option would be to remove      a layer and make it a single layer, it would not involve and major sewing or cutting, just clip the hand stitching on the ends and remove it, option 2 is to reverse the damage one and put the damage to the underside, the straps also really don't need the puffs, so they could be removed all together. Any of the options would be quite easy to do with very little sewing skills needed, they are only tacked on to the top of the bodice and not in any seams.

The measurements are approximate, I do my best to measure accurately, but placement of the measuring tape tape can be subjective.
